The Purpose of Our School

We do not bring any “new” message, but simply a restatement in terms of modern scientific perceptions of an immemorial tradition – the ancient, guarded, secret Wisdom Teachings long known by Initiates of the Inner Orders. These teachings were at the root of ancient cultures, and have come down to us through the ages in allegorical and symbolical form. It is now possible to correlate science and semantics to gain a deeper understanding of this world as a dynamic energy system which, when properly perceived, represents Reality and leads the awakened one into Light’s Regions.

Now, at the close of the Old Cycle, it is understood that there were traditions and secrets contained within these ancient teachings, hidden because younger humanity was not ready -- but advances made by expanding consciousness has rendered many able to understand what was previously available only to a chosen few. The tools of the ancient mysteries are now being restored to the Wisdom teachings, tools that assist the student to break through the veil of illusion which stems from living in a state of objective identity. It is possible by means of thoroughly training oneself in the true structure of Reality and using these powerful tools, to shortcut the slower evolutionary process of consciousness, for higher states of awareness are enfolded, or latent, within each of us.

As one’s understanding develops, he becomes aware of the barriers which prevent conscious identification with the functional process of this organism-as-a-whole, Reality. He discovers that these barriers reside in his psychic nature, which psychologists call the unconscious. A major part of this work is guiding ones who are ready through a purificatory process, and it is necessary to break habits of objective identity – confusing words with 'things,' inferences and notions with appearances of gods in the skies, identity of self with the 'physical body' as a 'thing,' etc. Among the Be-ings in a higher state of Self-consciousness than ourselves are many who, out of compassion for those bound to the wheel of necessity, remain in wave-frequency contact, whom we refer to as Elder Brothers, Masters, Blessed Ones. We come into contact with these when our higher, or Mind level consciousness, is sufficiently developed and we then can receive their support.

Self-created destiny is called karma. That segment of Nature, which lies between pure energy and living matter is called etheric substance, and will reflect anything to which it is exposed. The accumulated images thus reflected into consciousness represent a self-created destiny. But the destiny that is to be discovered is that the Power-to-be-Conscious, buried in matter, is struggling and working to get itself free from the confines of Nature, the Mother. Therefore, our true destiny is to awaken the Christ-conscious state, and then faithfully cooperate with its urges and influences. It is then we finally realize the truth of the saying, “ye are gods,” living in a birthless, deathless world…
