I’ve learned that setting healthy boundaries doesn’t mean shutting people out—it’s about protecting the what is precious, like our own hearts. Love doesn’t mean being passive and tolerating harmful behavior from people in our lives. Sometimes, the most loving thing you can do is stand up for yourself and protect what’s sacred to you. True love can be gentle, but it can also be fierce, especially when it’s about keeping your peace and your heart safe.

I know what it’s like to be in the middle of a heated conversation, feeling the tension rise, and suddenly, I’m stressed and trying to prove my point—completely off my center and ungrounded. What I’ve learned is that it takes practice to stay in the heart space. From this place of peace, I can respond in a way that’s unifying, not divisive. It’s important to remember that we’re here for a bigger purpose, and getting distracted by conflict only takes us further from it. Let’s stay focused on what truly matters.
