* I do not own the rights to this video. Anxiety causes us to spin around in the what if's, which impacts our ability to experience joy. We are so focused on creating a plan A,B,and C to feel a sense of control; However, it leaves us feeling more out of control and immobilized stuck in "freeze" or maybe running away (avoidance) from our problems. In order to experience joy, we cannot runaway from the things that scare us. Is it a fear of success or failure? A fear of what others may think about you? A fear of not being good enough or addressing a trauma that continues to impact you? Can you take one small step today to address it? Maybe the step is doing one part of a project you're putting off, looking at others who have succeeded and finding a mentor, or maybe it is finding a counselor to begin working through it with support.
