This is my son, and he LOVES Hypnotherapy!
Children with ADHD often experience the world intensely.
Big emotions. Racing thoughts. Impulsivity. Frustration. Pressure to “sit still,” focus harder, regulate faster, or respond differently — all while trying to navigate school, sports, friendships, and confidence in themselves.
And underneath it all, many of them become incredibly hard on themselves.
As I began incorporating hypnotherapy into his life, I noticed meaningful shifts.
He became calmer and more emotionally regulated.
Less reactive and impulsive.
More confident in his ability to pause, think clearly, and trust himself.
Less stuck in frustration, overwhelm, or self-doubt.
What stood out to me most was not perfection — but the sense of ease he began to develop within himself.
I think many people hear the word “hypnotherapy” and assume it sounds extreme or intimidating, when in reality, safe and appropriate hypnotherapy can be an incredibly supportive tool for children with ADHD.
Not to “change” who they are — but to help strengthen the skills they often struggle with most:
emotional regulation, impulse control, confidence, focus, self-esteem, resilience, and the way they speak to themselves internally.
I genuinely believe helping children develop healthier emotional patterns early in life is one of the greatest gifts we can give them. 🩷
