Spectrum of Rockford LGBT Counseling Center is a safe place for those who identify as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender. We also welcome those who are questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender and the people who support the LGBT community. We provide supportive counseling services by clinicians who specialize in LGBT issues. We provide therapy services such as individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy and group therapy. Our community includes those who reside in the Rockford, Illinois and surrounding areas such as: Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Rockton, Cherry Valley, Belvidere, South Beloit, and Beloit, WI. LGBT owned and operated. Spectrum of Rockford LGBT was founded in August 2008 by several LGBT mental health counselors who are also LGBT oriented. Due to a lack of service and social activities for our community in the Rockford, IL area, we decided to create a safe location that is alcohol and smoke free. Come out to an alcohol free and smoke free environment that is cozy, comfortable, and safe! The private practice professional therapy services are covered by most EAP and insurance companies. These services are coordinated with the Harmony Center for Holistic Psychotherapy. As a courtesy to all clients, we will help to verify your insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorization for services. We are sorry but we are not covered by medicare, public aid, or the medical card. A self-pay fee is also available for people without insurance.
