It’s all good though. The sunrise is beautiful, the waves are beautiful, and the movement feels beautiful. What more could you ask for?

I took a lonnnnng walk on the beach the other day. The 2.5 miles to the destination weren’t a big deal. The 2.5 led to some angry hip flexors. I started to walk backwards and felt better (at least temporarily)!
🔆Stepping forward engages the hip flexors.
🌟Stepping backwards engages the outer hips and glutes- muscle groups that almost always weak. Wake them up and ask them to support you!!!
💕Switch things up if you feel like your hip flexors are weak and uncomfortable AND hold a dog for emotional support 😋🙌

There are times when I feel like a baby having a tantrum. I don’t want to. I don’t think I can, but I have to. Because I’m NOT a baby. So I will. Staying close to the ground and being gentle with myself.
