At the beginning of September, our team members Carmen and Tom joined the community at Lowell City Hall for International Overdose Awareness Day. 💜

They stood in solidarity to honor lives lost, support survivors, and raise awareness alongside the City of Lowell. Together, we continue the fight against the stigma of addiction and the impact it leaves on families and communities.

On Friday, our team members Karen and PJ attended the Stand Down event in Manchester, NH, supporting veterans in need with vital supplies.

They distributed coats, comforters, backpacks, toiletry bags, hand warmers, canvas carrying bags, and socks—small comforts that make a big difference.

We are proud to stand alongside our veterans and provide support through our Veterans Services program. 🇺🇸

Our team just completed CPR & First Aid with our beloved Joan Guarente, and followed it with Narcan (naloxone) overdose response training.

Safety first, for everyone who walks through our doors. Huge thanks to Joan for keeping our community prepared.

What an amazing day at our ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Veterans Transitional Home at 147 East Merrimack Street. 💙

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us — your presence meant the world to our team, our community, and especially the veterans who will soon call this place home.

A huge thank-you to all the organizations and individuals who donated and made this vision a reality — we truly couldn’t have done it without you.

We also want to shout out our culinary training class, who graduated that very same day and cooked all the incredible food and hors d'oeuvres for the event. You guys crushed it!

Special thanks to Mayor Dan Rourke, City Councilor Rita Mercier, Secretary Santiago, State Representative Rodney Elliott, State Representative Vanna Howard, City Councilor Paul Ratha Yem, and so many others who showed up and stood with us.

This home is more than a building — it’s a second chance. And thanks to all of you, it’s now a reality. 🏠🇺🇸
