What are your families holiday dishes?🤍☺️

Passing down holiday recipes is a great way to keep family traditions alive while teaching your child valuable cooking skills. Involving kids in the kitchen allows them to learn about food safety, practice reading and math, and explore new foods. Stephanie Chilicky at Greater Lowell Pediatrics shares the positive impact of learning her favorite family recipe.

About our Practice

We have offices in Lowell and Westford Massachusetts About our Practice At Greater Lowell Pediatrics we’re committed to giving the highest quality medical care to infants, children and adolescents in a compassionate, family-friendly environment. If you are already our patient, it’s a privilege to have you in our practice. If you are not, we hope you will consider scheduling an appointment soon. Our History Greater Lowell Pediatrics takes pride in its tradition and history dating back to its founding in 1952 by Gilbert M. Cogan, MD, the first board certified pediatrician to establish a practice in Lowell. Eric Kaplan, MD one of Dr. Cogan’s first patients, joined him in practice in 1977. Since then the group has grown to encompass two offices, nine pediatricians and three nurse practitioners. In 1991 our practice moved to its present office in the Leahey Medical Building adjacent to Saint Medical Center. In December 1999 our Westford office opened. All of our physicians are Board Certified in pediatrics and are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Our Pediatric Nurse Practitioners are certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses. Our Affiliations Our primary local hospital affiliation is with Lowell General Hospital. Lowell General's commitment to the highest quality pediatric care is exemplified by its Pediatric Hospitalist Program which staffs state of the art inpatient Pediatrics and Special Care Nursery Units. The Floating Hospital for Children of the Tufts Medical Center directs these programs as well as the outpatient specialty clinics at Lowell General at Drum Hill in Chelmsford. When care is required outside the local setting our doctors refer to pediatric specialists throughout the Boston area, including those at Boston Children's Hospital, The Massachusetts General Hospital for Children, and The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. The Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Boston Children's Hospital (PPOC) Greater Lowell Pediatrics is proud to be a member group of The Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Boston Children's Hospital (PPOC), a community of pediatricians committed to high quality family-centered care. The PPOC is made up of more than 200 physicians in over 75 pediatric primary care practices in Eastern Massachusetts - from North of Boston to Metro West to Southeastern Massachusetts to Cape Cod.To learn more about the PPOC please visit www.ppochildrens.org. A Medical Home For Your Child At Greater Lowell Pediatrics we are committed to the goal that “Every Child Deserves a Medical Home”. As described by The American Academy of Pediatrics, the medical home is a model of delivering primary care that is accessible, continuous, comprehensive, family-centered, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective care.
