One of our residents’ daughters spent months quietly making quilts — not just any quilts, but one for each of her mom’s closest friends here at Green Acres of Lowell.

There were tears. There were hugs.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation on National Nurses Day to Sarah Kohn, LPN and Audra Rein, LPN!

We would love to welcome Audra to our team as our Administrator!

Audra has been a nurse for 20 years today! Happy Anniversary Audra!🎉 Audra has spent 15 years in the Assisted Living field. In her free time she enjoys reading, games (especially dice, board, and card) and spending time with her family.

A special thank you to Sarah from our Ionia location for your dedication, assistance, and continued education for our staff.

You both are amazing and today we celebrate you! ❤️

It’s National Oatmeal Cookie Day 🍪 and the Green Acres Bakers went bananas 🍌. 3-ingredient banana oatmeal cookies to be precise!

The magic formula = mashed bananas + oats + chocolate chips. That’s it. Healthy-ish and delicious.

Pro tip: Adding chocolate chips = adding happiness. It’s just math. 🍫
