Today our Senior Teen Employment Program (STEP) have leaned how to make English muffin pizzas at the office using the air fryer. There were various topping options from bacon bits, pepperoni, and veggies. They all came out great and delicious!!

On Tuesday December 17 th , the Adult Program at Lowell Association for the blind hosted our annual Wrapping day event .

The clients were invited to bring Nh their gifts in to be wrapped and tagged for holiday giving . Through the help of the staff and volunteers everyone’s gifts sparkled with the joy of the holiday season ! A special thank you to our elf Diana Perry for volunteering year after year!

Today our Youth and Senior Youth Program had their annual holiday party at the office filled with fun and joy! They had various activities from a Yankee gift swap, gingerbread house decorating, and a special visit from Santa! From all of us at LAB, we wish you all a safe and healthy holiday season!🎅🏼🎄☃️

On Thursday, December 12th, the Lowell Association for the Blind Adult Program had fun making crafts to give as hostess gifts. Each client made gifts to give to whomever they wished as we listened to Christmas music and socialized. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful easy banana bread made by a peer who wasn't able to attend today. On Tuesday, December 10th, the Lowell Association for the Blind Adult Program hosted the annual holiday party at the office in Lowell. The clients enjoyed a wonderful soup, made-to-order sandwiches, and a bounty of assorted desserts. After lunch, many participated in a Yankee Swap which was a clever game of trading, keeping, lots of laughter, smiles, and fun!

On Tuesday, November 19th, Lowell Association for the Blind held their annual Thanksgiving feast at Lenzi’s Catering in Dracut. Clients enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal served in a beautifully spacious room complete with a fireplace. The client's favorite part of the day was sharing what they were grateful for.

The staff at Lenzi’s welcomed us with an acknowledgement on their marque board. Once in, Bonnie and Gabby of Lenzi’s event department were very friendly and directed us into the wonderfully festive room, and Denise and Jim (it was his first day on the job) were amazing waiting on and assisting our visually impaired clients! Special thanks to our 2 board members that volunteered to help at this event.

This weekend our youth program headed to the Discovery Museum in Acton for some hands on fun. They engaged in various sensory exhibit. Everyone had a great time! ⚙️🧩🛝

This weekend our VIP Program went to Wamesit Lanes for a round of bowling. We had two teams play against each other and they had a great time with amazing scores!🎳

Happy Halloween from the adult program!! Today they celebrated Halloween with a fun party. Everyone was dressed in costume and enjoyed a plate of ghoul-ash. A few of our clients put their baking skills to work and conjured treats for the group that were hauntingly delicious. Thank you Katie and Maria!

A wild game of Halloween Trivia where candy was the prize rounded out our event. Everyone went home with their treats and thankfully no tricks.
