Due to growth, we are hiring a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician for RC Compounding and RC Outsourcing!
Description: Full-Time Pharmacy Technician at an independent pharmacy. The primary role is non-sterile compounding. The primary focus is compounding and away from front-end retail.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a clean, organized, and adequately stocked work environment.
Maintain all pertinent documentation as required.
Use computer skills to process and maintain all patient information and records. Maintain all patient information and records. Maintain the pharmacy computer system as required.
Assist in filling medication orders through correct labeling, counting, and stocking practices. Initial and date products as required.
Preparing and affixing labels; stocking prescription drugs and retrieving those drugs from inventory locations; counting and pouring drugs into containers prior to dispensing by a pharmacist; performing non-sterile drug compounding as defined under guidelines published by United States Pharmacopeia
Qualifications: Association or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification and registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
RPhT required, CPhT a plus
Skills Required: Mathematics skills appropriate to complete common pharmacy calculations. Exhibit proficient use of common computer hardware and software applications.
Experience with compounding preferred
