A few of our residents have been participating in the Pen Pal Program with the writing class from Lakeland R3 School. One student was so thoughtful that she made her pen pal a lap quilt! I told him to smile for the picture, he said these were happy tears because he was so moved by her gesture!

We had a wonderful donation of several boxes of books on CD! Now we are looking for a couple small cd players that the residents can listen to those books on. If you have a spare small cd player that you would like to donate you can bring it to the facility and tell them it's for the activities dept! Thanks!!
