I personally love performing craniosacral therapy sessions. They feel deep to me as the therapist and many clients also feel the profound relaxation effects.

CST cannot correct everything, but as you can see below it can support many health conditions using gentle touch without pain.

I often used CST on Elias when he was hospitalized waiting for his second bilateral lung transplant to reduce his anxiety and help him sleep.

I also have many clients who combine CST with regular massage in my 90 minute signature session to get the best of both worlds.

Sometimes massage therapy is about pain relief.

Other times it's about teaching a nervous system how it feels to be safe and relax.

Sometimes it's the facilitation of a natural release, healing or unwinding that needs to take place.

At times it is supporting the woman bringing new life into this world.

Other times it's providing comfort for those at the end of life on hospice.

My massage practice is varied and beautiful and I am so honored to bring this medicine to the clients who entrust me with their care.

What if I told you that your nervous system is just as important in a massage session as your tissue?

What if I told you that if you are in pain or tensing under my hands that you are not getting the maximum benefit from your session?

What if I told you that your body has an innate wisdom and desire to heal itself if we as the therapist and you as the client allow it to communicate to us?

What if I told you that your body knows how to unwind and release tension without someone forcing it to do so?

What if I told you that gentle, subtle work can be just as effective, if not more so, than what most think "deep tissue massage" should look like?

This is how I practice and this is what I believe to be true. If you haven't tried this approach, I would encourage you to do so. If it's not for you, that's completely fine, but the next time you are on a table, ask yourself, does my nervous system feel safe and relaxed right now? If the answer is not "yes", them maybe it is time to try something new.

This aromatherapy is a complimentary add on that is optional for each client.

Starting immediately, I will be offering complimentary aromatherapy into any massage session (other than craniosacral therapy only sessions as these are performed fully clothed without oils).

Each week I will be using a "scent of the week". These will likely often coincide with the seasons such as pumpkin pie, spiced chai, or apple cider to name a few. I will only be using pure essential oils, so no chemical based fragrance or perfumes.

Clients are also always able to opt out and go scent free.

I am also introducing my new signature session. More and more clients are requesting to combine craniosacral therapy with a typical massage session.

While this can be done in one hour, to really get the most benefit from both modalities, my signature session will be a 90 minute session so that you can allow craniosacral therapy to balance your body and stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system, allowing you to settle into deep relaxation before transitioning into the soothing strokes of a more traditional massage session where you will all feel your muscles actively being worked. Unlike a craniosacral only session, this session will be unclothed for a seamless transition.

I am so excited about these two new offerings to provide you with a higher quality session.

I have some extra openings this month and I am looking to fill a limited number of them with some specific clientele who have TMJ syndrome or who are open to inner mouth work.

This would be a craniosacral therapy session that would include inner mouth work, which can be beneficial beyond TMJ syndrome, but often these are the clients who are seeking this work.
