During the most wonderful time of the year your pets safety is our top concern; below we have listed some holiday hazards! 🎄🕎🎁

🍗This time of year includes some of the best foods, but not all are safe for our furry friends!
Not Safe: Alcohol, Chocolate, Grapes, Raisins, Garlic, Onions and Xylitol. (Sorry, no fruitcake for Fluffy!)
We also recommend keeping anything fatty or spicy away too!

🎄Everyone loves the festive holiday plants, but some aren’t safe for our pets!
Mistletoe, Holly, Poinsettias, Amaryllis and Lilies; should be kept out of reach!
✨Tree Tips! ✨
Even the Christmas tree can be dangerous! Be sure to keep the tree secured, so there is no chance of it falling over onto any nearby pets. Make sure the tree water is covered or inaccessible to curious pets it could be toxic!

🕯️Everybody loves to decorate for the holidays, but some of our favorite decor can be dangerous!
Be sure to not leave any candles unattended; curious paws or wagging tails can knock them over! Tinsel, garland, bows and ribbon should be kept out of reach! Even snowglobes can be very toxic or dangerous if knocked over!
⚡️ Please keep all electrical wires, extension cords and batteries away from pets!

🎁 Be cautious of wrapped gifts, do not leave any food or candy on the ground! (while we can’t see it, pets can smell it!)

🦃 Thanksgiving Prep - For your pets! 🦃

Thanksgiving can be a hectic day for many of us, including our pets! Here are some tips to keep your pets feeling thankful:

✨Create a safe space: set up a quiet, comfortable area with some of their favorite items (bed, toys, blankets) to retreat to if they feel overwhelmed.
✨Maintain their routine: stick to their normal feeding, walking and playtime schedule as much as possible to reduce stress.
✨Supervise interactions: remind children and guests to interact with your pets gently and ask guests not to feed them any table scraps.
✨Secure trash: keep all food scraps and trash securely away from pets, some of them can be toxic!

🍗Safe treats: if you want to include your furry family members in the feast, be sure to only feed pet safe items - in moderation!

Such as:
Plain pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling!)
Plain cooked sweet potatoes or other vegetables like green beans or carrots
Plain cooked turkey (no seasonings!
