Julie has been a patient since February, 2013!

Julie serves as a lab technician at Hartman eye group where she has worked for 8 years. Prior to that she was employed at Forbes Regional Hospital in the outpatient oncology department for 18 years.

Julie and her husband of 21 years John, have 2 daughters, Isabella and Francesca. The family is very busy with Isabella involved in NCAA athletics and Francesca in High School athletics.

Julie cherishes her family time which keeps her very busy with sports and activities. In spite or her busy family schedule, Julie prioritizes her health outside of the Chiropractic office with regular exercise.

Congratulations to this week’s CHAMPION PATIENT OF THE WEEK!

John has been a patient since June, 2023!

John is the owner of Clark’s Tree Service. Clark’s has been a trusted leader of quality tree and landscape management in our area for over 50 years! Established by his father, Jack Clark, John takes pride in customer service and quality work.

John and his wife have been married for 29 years and have 1 son, John Jr. He admits that in addition to being a loving wife and mother, Janie has been a tremendous support in helping to operate the business.

When he doesn’t have a chainsaw in his hands or is operating a wood chipper, John enjoys working with wood in a more climate controlled environment. He likes to build cabinets and furniture in his wood shop.

John enjoys fly fishing for steelhead and trout and his favorite place to visit is Northern PA. He said he “loves Warren County”

Congratulations to this week’s CHAMPION PATIENT OF THE WEEK!

Marian has been a patient since December, 2014!

Marian has been driving school bus for Smith Bus company, serving the students of Derry Area School District, for 14 years!

For more than 25 years, her service has gone beyond the school bus. Marian “moonlights” as a caterer for Longs Catering in Crabtree.

Prior to her “retirement”, Marian worked as an optician for more than 40 years.

When Marian is not moving students to and from school and sporting events or moving food across the buffet line, she enjoys picking up a good book and traveling! She said her favorite place is Key West, Fl and her reading preference is romantic comedy.

Marian has a son Nick who she refers to as her “pride and joy”. Nick is an executive chef at Treesdale Golf & Country Club.

Making my annual visit to the Derry Township Agricultural Fair market sale. I’ve been a long time supporter of these hardworking young folks. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community I serve while putting high quality food in the freezer!

Congratulations to this week’s CHAMPION PATIENT OF THE WEEK!

Scott has been a patient since May, 2025!

Scott is a 2007 graduate of Derry Area High School. He went on to further his education at Lockhaven University. Scott attained a degree in exercise science in 2011.

Scott owns and operates Innate Fitness located at 2012 Main Drive, Latrobe PA. This month marks a very special milestone for Innate Fitness. This is their 10 year anniversary. Innate was established on July 6, 2015! Scott would like to invite everyone to join in their celebration being held tomorrow, Saturday, July 19th for a special member celebration and open house for new members! This is not just a big year professionally, this is a big year at home as well, Scott and his Wife Mallory are expecting the arrival of their first child in August!

When Scott is not working to help others improve their health, he enjoys playing deck hockey and watching Penn State sports. He also enjoys growing fresh vegetables and tinkering around with small projects.

Scott has 2 cats Russell and Stewie.

Congratulations to this week’s CHAMPION PATIENT OF THE WEEK!

Josh has been a patient since August, 2024!

Josh is a 1998 graduate of Derry Area High School.

Josh is currently employed at City Brewing Company where he has worked for 14 years.

Josh has had a love for music since a very young age. He estimates his start in music as being around the age of 5. His instrument of choice is the drums. He has been playing the drums for nearly 40 years. His passion for music took him to the professional level. Josh was the lead drummer for the Juliana Theory for 5 years. His time with his band led to 2 albums and a music contract with epic records. Josh had the opportunity to tour all over the world while with his band!

When not working or playing music, Josh enjoys attending live concerts and watching Pittsburgh sports events.

We had a great time visiting our son William over the weekend! He is in his last year of school and will be joining our practice next year!🤩
In addition, it is nice to recharge my Chiropractic battery by going back to where it all began! The Fountainhead! That from which the entire profession flows!
The last photo is a picture of my Philosophy Professor (and president of the college at the time), Dr. Virgil Strang, standing next to Dr. BJ Palmer himself!
I was so close but yet I have still so far to go!
