It’s been a while, but I needed a break from posts/content while I organized my brain and life a little.

The last three weeks re-cap: training and helping pilot a new program at my job, getting organized and ready to start homeschooling, got a summer cold that put us down a whole week, and we needed some down time to recoup and reload before school starts.

While doing that, I decided that I’m tired of making “witchy” content right now. 😬
Instead, I want to focus more on the times, and start a monthly book club that focuses on demystifying history, politics, and the Christian-Right.
This isn’t your typical book club where we meet up and chat; ain’t nobody got time, so I’m going to make two posts each month related to our book(ish) club:
⭐️ 1. At the beginning of the month, I’ll kick it off with the book I’m going to be reading and analyzing that month.
⭐️ 2. At the end of the month, we’ll end with a post where I post my thoughts, and then we can start a little discussion in the comments with thoughts/feedback!

I’m kicking this off September 1, so get ready for a post coming 🔜

Next on the agenda is healthy habits, organization, and starting homeschooling. This is something I’ve wanted to do, attended to do, and now it’s here. So I’ll be focusing a lot of time on that after we celebrate Max’s birthday on the 2nd! 🎉💙

Then I’m rounding out the month, with a shop drop, a cousins wedding in Kansas, and a local market to keep my busy. 💈💍🛍️

My intent is to try and make content, but we all know my ADHD probably won’t get to it 😂

🌱 Progress, NOT Perfection

📷 The difference between these photos is 3.5 years; 3.5 long years of anxiety, discomfort, anger, self-loathing, and unhealthy thoughts.
BUT. The other side has been full of healthy habits, more positive thinking, and a different outlook on life.

🫡 Over the last few months, A LOT of has happened in the world, and it’s shown me how important it is to be authentic to myself and my values. That means showing my true self, and not being ashamed of who I am or where I’m at in my journey.

🤰🏻When I was pregnant, I gained 75 lbs with my son; so my body changed REALLY QUICK. I through out all of my clothes, and I hid my self-loathing under layers of maternity clothes and sweatshirts. When the daily panic attacks began to take their toll, I went to therapy, got on meds, and started the journey to healing.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Healing is ugly; you will have relapses of negative habits/thoughts, you will still be depressed, but most of all, you’ll be anger with yourself and everyone around you. However, when you finally come to terms with the sources of these issues, THEN you begin to feel the positive changes.

❤️‍🩹 It’s been rough, but I’ve been able to come out in the other side feeling more confident in myself and my future.

Here we go again…

I’m changing the layouts of my designs; going for a cleaner look, more nutrition facts, and less PC jargon - it’s time to get real + raw!

So from now on you’ll be getting the raw version of everything; my wreck of a weight loss journey, my struggles with PCOS/Endo, and the natural path I’ve taken to try and heal.

It’s not always pretty, but that’s life.

This feels right, and I hope it feels right to y’all. ❤️
