It is with a heavy heart that we share one of our own, Dr. Mario Pena, passed away. Dr. Pena had been a part of UMCP since 1997 and was awarded Physician of the Year in 2020. He was deeply respected and loved by both his coworkers and his patients. His life was a testament to compassion and service, and he continued to care for others until the very last day he was physically able. He will be missed.
