🎉 Employee of the Month 🎉

Join us in celebrating our amazing June Employee of the Month, Eulisha Johnson 🌟

She has worked for us for almost 2 years and consistently goes above and beyond, showing dedication, compassion, and a true commitment to our mission every single day. She works at keeping a positive environment and makes sure everyone feels supported. She never complains about doing the dirty work and trust us, she does do the dirty work that no one else wants to. She has even worked the last 2 Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays so that others could be off.

Lately she has been working hard to find volunteer opportunities for our individuals to do, in addition to helping with some tough behaviors, and making new individuals feel like family. She is a second mom to individuals and staff.

Meme, we’re so grateful to have you on our team. 💙 Thank you for all you do!

We had a great day yesterday! Enjoying the fresh air, friendships, fun, laughter and candy 🍭 🍬 Thanks to our wonderful staff who work so hard to make good things happen for our residents 🩵🐣🐰💐

We love all of our residents and our staff so much!! Love is the reason we do what we do. Ahavah means Love. We have THE best staff they pour their hearts and souls to each resident, they work long hours with very little pay. Their love for our residents shows every day.

The Ahavah Foundation, a Lubbock-based nonprofit dedicated to providing long term care and support for adults with mental disabilities, is seeking volunteers.

When you are trying to do what God has told you to do, it’s not all sunshine and roses and there are people out that try their best to destroy the good you are trying to do. Yesterday our nicest van was vandalized. It’s sad to know that people want to hurt the special individuals that we take care of; but we are not gonna let it get us down.

So this week we got to meet someone special 😊😊 Hulk Hogan came to town, and while we wish all of our residents could have met him, it made the day for the one who did!

Our residents LOVE the elves, so we are so thankful for the staff who are willing help to bring smiles to their faces each December morning🎄
