Have you been out to explore Lubbock lately? We had our mid-year team meeting this month and want to share the great places we visited. Have you been? πβ¨
Starting out at Caffeination Station, Dr. Merrell shared about his recent dental mission trip to Lima, Peru, where he had the opportunity to help local citizens and teach dental techniques. There was also a spirited round of trivia, where knowledge of Taylor Swift, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, Forrest Gump, and FRIENDS proved to be very valuable. The Caffeination Station staff was extremely kind, accommodating, and fun. π
Then it was on to Robert Lance Jewelry, where we learned about new jewelry trends, tested the authenticity of jewels, and got to try on a few fun pieces! We had another encounter with the good people of the 806, and the staff kept us smiling and intrigued. π This time trivia focused on similarities between teeth and jewels. πβ¨ They call them pearly whites for a reason.
The next stop was Texas Wedge for some ball hitting (or maybe ball missing in some cases), where we shared exciting news about new technology headed to MND. π»π¦· More on this SOON. The fajitas provided by Ike's Woodfire Grill were delicious! Texas Wedge was a perfect spot for a great info meeting paired with movement and fun.
Finally, we rounded out the day at The Reserve Culinary Tavern for a mixology class. The Reserve team went above and beyond with a great menu and incredibly knowledgeable bartenders. Did you know the three beans on an espresso martini mean health, wealth, and happiness? The nonalcoholic versions were just as delicious! π
It was a great day of team building, teaching, and lots of laughs. What are your favorite places? We're already planning our next meeting! πΊοΈπ
