Thirty second-year medical students recently toured the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at the Permian Basin campus in Odessa. They'll soon call the Permian Basin home when they transition into their third year of medical school. All medical students complete the first two years of the Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree program at the Lubbock campus, and some will transfer to the Amarillo or Odessa campuses for the last two years and to complete a clinical specialization.

Take a look into the NFL internship opportunities that some (AT) students in the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Health Professions are experiencing. There are 32 professional football teams, each taking only a couple (AT) students from programs across the country. There are seven students working with the NFL this summerβ€”likely the most coming out of any one program.
