Join us in celebrating our Employee of the Month, Cynthia Darthard! 🎉

Cynthia has been a dedicated part of the LHC family for 2 1/2 years and brings over 20 years of experience as a Certified Medication Aide, starting her career in 2004. Her passion for what she does shines through every single day.

Cynthia loves dancing and, even more, she loves spending time with our residents—and it shows! She was hand-selected by the residents themselves, which speaks volumes about the care, compassion, and joy she brings to their lives. 💛

Her favorite part of working here? The residents. She absolutely loves them, and they truly love her right back.

Thank you, Cynthia, for everything you do to make Lubbock Healthcare feel like home! 👏

Welcome to one of the heartbeats of Lubbock Healthcare Center 💙

Our lobby is more than just an entrance, it’s a place where moments happen every day. On Wednesdays and Friday afternoons, you’ll find our residents moving to music alongside our amazing therapy team, bringing energy, smiles, and a whole lot of fun to the space.

It’s also home to our weekly coffee chats with staff and our administrator - a time to connect, share stories, and build community together.

And in between it all, the lobby serves as a cozy gathering place for residents and their loved ones. Whether it’s catching up, sharing laughs, or enjoying a classic old western on TV, this space is always filled with warmth and connection.

What a fantastic day we had at our Easter egg hunt! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, our residents and staff had so much fun celebrating together. We even had a surprise visit from the Easter bunny!
