Texas Turns

Texas Turns West Texas manufacturers of flag display cases, pens, shadow boxes, and custom wood gift items and more! About Us

Why do we own Texas Turns?

Because we truly believe that when community members make retail and wholesale products and market them to local customers those communities thrive. We could have chosen a number of products or services and in the future...well we just might have to expand if that's what our community wants. We chose custom lathe work because it offers our customers unique gift ideas and because it allows them to support their community. It also brings our family closer to one another in a shared venture. Family, neighbors, colleagues, businesses...heck even competitors all benefit from a healthy small business community. About the Texas Turns Family

The Ventle family has been in Lubbock for over 70 years and over 90 year in the South Plains. With four college degrees from Texas Tech University and deep roots in Lubbock, we take pride in being a member of the small business community. Since we live and work here, we spend the money we make with local merchants. This means we are invested in the community we serve and love. What about Lubbock, TX? Texas Turns, is proudly owned and operated in Lubbock, Texas also known as the Hub of the Plains. A quick look at any Texas map will confirm that Lubbock is the center for agriculture, trade, manufacturing, education and health care for the South Plains. The spokes of this important hub lead to communities that support and are benefited by our west Texas center of commerce. Lubbock is home to Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian University and a Wayland Baptist satellite campus. We are the home of The Depot District, the birth place of Buddy Holly and we have a thriving art community. We also enjoy the pleasure of a number of wineries including Llano Estacado, Pheasant Ridge, and Caprock Winery.
