Did you know? Hearing Aid Batteries have had a change of packaging due to Reece's Law. Just a heads up... they are very difficult to open in these new packages. Keep a pair of strong scissors handy for changing batteries away from home so that you are not without your hearing aids. Rechargeable hearing aids are the way to go! Let us know if you're tired of the hassle of batteries and we will show you how rechargeable devices work!

Keep your eyes out on the street for Iris the Infiniti! She got a makeover! Thanks to Elite Sign & Design - she is sharp and hard to miss! Iris is hot on the path to Snyder each Tuesday and she visits Carillon and Raider Ranch and even does some home visits for our patients! Give her a honk if you see her on the road! 🚗

Dr. Courtney Arnold shared her Mesquite Bean Jelly with us recently and we are so grateful. That is some good stuff!

MESQUITE BEAN JELLY

1/2 bushel mesquite beans
1 cup lemon juice
3 - 4 c. water
1 box Sure-Jell
7 1/2 c. sugar

Select mature beans that have a red tinge on pods.

(Beans that have fallen to the ground are too woody.)

Wash and snap beans into a large stock pan. Add lemon juice and water; cook for 1 hour. Water line is an inch above the beans.

Drain the juice using a mesh strainer into a large bowl. Measure 5 cups of juice into a large saucepan and add Sure-Jell.

Bring to a boil and add sugar. Cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly till you get a rolling boil. Keep rolling boil for 1 minute then turn off heat. Tablespoon of butter will help cut the foam. Pour into sterilized glasses or jars and seal.
