Meet Lake Ridge: Janet Gruner, our wonderful First Impressions/Receptionist, grew up in Portales, New Mexico, and after earning her Bachelor of Science in Education from Abilene Christian University, she spent 29 years teaching middle school. In 2019, Janet became part of our team, providing care and support for both our staff and the families we serve. Outside of work, Janet cherishes making memories with her grandchildren.

This past Sunday, we concluded our latest Walking Through Grief session with a meaningful and heartfelt balloon release. 🎈💛

Together, participants shared stories, honored loved ones, and supported one another through the journey of loss. As Sherri, our facilitator, shared:

“Today we concluded another transformative grief class session, and it was a privilege to witness the resilience and courage of this remarkable group. Together, we created a safe space for sharing, healing, and growth.”

We are deeply grateful to everyone who took part — your strength and openness made this group a place of connection, hope, and renewal.

Our next Walking Through Grief class begins January 11, 2026, and we welcome anyone who may benefit from a supportive community during a difficult season.
