Experience: Minimum 3 years in Physician Office, preferably in primary care
Office Hours: M-F 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
Compensation:Competitive pay depending on experience, benefit package included for full time employees
The Medical Assistant reports to our Nurse Manager to maximize overall patient experience and operation efficiencies
We are a very busy clinic and we see approximately 45-60 patients a day with at least 2 providers working each day.
Applicants need previous Medical Assistant experience, be detail-oriented with exceptional work ethic with excellent written and verbal skills. This is an involved medical assistant position, and we need a team player to work in a fast paced environment.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Follow all medical office HIPAA compliance guidelines
- Communicate with with patients to ensure they receive personal and detailed communications
- Has a caring mind-set as part of a high-performance staff of nurses
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills
- Assist medically, with specialty referrals and pre-authorizations
- Assist administratively the front office administrator as needed, to include filing and scanning of appropriate documents helping to optimize all office services
