PSA about the TSA. The contact lens solution Clear Care has been banned from being carried on the plane, even if it's within their 3.4 ounce size limitation. Even though the TSA.gov website sites "TSA allows larger amounts of medically necessary liquids, gels, and aerosols in reasonable quantities for your trip, but you must declare them to security officers at the checkpoint for inspection. Any oversized medically-necessary liquids that alarm during screening, testing positive for certain chemicals, may not be allowed through the screening checkpoint. Some contact lens solutions contain chemicals that typically alarm and may not permitted through the checkpoint. We recommend placing contact lens solutions over 3.4 ounces in your checked baggage.", Clear Care contains Hydrogen Peroxide....meaning carry on sized bottles aren't allowed. Make sure you pack them in your checked luggage or obtain a doctors note stating it is medically necessary that you need to be able to carry it on the plane with you.
