Ergo-Therapy and Wellness strives to provide quality occupational therapy services in the natural environment of the home to empower patients with acute or chronic orthopedic, neurological, and other conditions to maximize their functional independence and perform any desired activities to their full potential. We treat the whole patient (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects) and use evidence-based treatment techniques to achieve the patient’s goals.

Almonds are super healthy and are my go to snack.
They are high in healthy monounsaturated fats, fiber, protein, Magnesium, and Vitamin E.
Eat them with the skin where most of the antioxidants are.
Studies have shown that eating almonds can lower the risk for heart disease, improves blood sugar levels, lowers the bad cholesterol, helps you feel fuller and therefore decrease your weight.
And the US is now the world's largest producer.
Do you eat your almonds raw or do you have a good recipe you use almonds, almond flower, almond butter, or almond milk in?

Wishing everybody a Happy Valentine's Day.
After you got that knee or hip replaced, the incision is healed, rehab completed, but you still don't feel 100%.
Why not come to the warm water arthritis class to get back to doing the things you love doing.
The warm water and gentle exercises loosen the muscles, help you get that last bit of range of motion back, and strengthen the muscles.
Give it a try! The first class is free.
The class is also very beneficial for those who will have knee or hip replacement soon. As several of my clients have experienced, the outcome of the surgery is much better and you get back to moving much faster.

I love getting real mail from friends, however I am not the best at returning the favor.
Handwritten cards are such a wonderful expression of love and care. I think it lifts the spirit of both, the sender and the recipient feel better.
