The Mommy Mentor Story

I love working with women and helping them to heal from the hard things that life throws at them. My special expertise is with pregnant and postpartum mothers, and with mothers of “littles.” Other women that seek out my services are those struggling with infertility, adopting or waiting to adopt, or who have experienced a pregnancy loss or fetal demise. Still others are battling medical illness, struggling with depression or anxiety, or have experienced a major loss like widowhood, divorce, or other bereavement.

I am a clinical psychologist, a mother, and a grandmother. I have raised four children to adulthood, and know what it’s like to be on the front lines caring for the next generation. I completed first my masters and then my Ph.D. in clinical psychology while raising my family. Earning the doctorate and becoming licensed as a psychologist has enabled me to provide gold-standard care to my clients, and it has been worth all the sacrifices I made to get to this point.
