Justin McCarthy MD, PA Justin McCarthy, MD, PA is a gastroenterologist in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Justin McCarthy is a resident of Australia and was born in 1949. military.

He received his medical training at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He graduated in 1975 with the following degrees: Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery. He also received a Bachelor's degree in medical science. Following internship and residency he did research which led to a Ph.D. in medical biology from the University of Melbourne. He then did further residency and equivalent of fellowship and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and a member of the Australian Gastroenterology Society. He came to the USA in 1986 as visiting Professor of Medicine and taught at two medical schools. One in Wisconsin and then one in Dallas, Texas. He came to Lubbock in 1992 where he met and married a Lubbock girl. He has been in practice in Lubbock since apart from several years spent in Australia looking after aged and ill patients. He did locum work during the period including working for the U.S. Following this Patti & him returned to Lubbock and he has been in practice at 6803 Indiana Avenue since.
