Moments Funeral Home Moments Funeral Home is the area’s newest provider in funeral service. We are independently owned Our products and services are affordable on any budget.

We are locally, independently and family owned by Jeff and Joy Herndon. Our brand new facility was specifically designed to meet the needs of the families we serve. We offer an elegant chapel with an antique upright family heirloom piano, spacious lounge leading to the courtyard, a Kid’s Room with TV, conference room with adequate seating, charging station for phones and other electronic devices and many more amenities. We specialize in Pre-Arrangements, At-Need traditional services, After Care services including grief support and Monuments. We are proud to honor our veterans who have graciously served our country with specialized military services. We also honor ALL pre-arrangements that have been purchased elsewhere. Many times families may prefer not to come to the funeral home to make arrangements. In those circumstances, we will be honored to come to you. We take our calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The community continues to support this organization; which is a residential, faith-based, drug and alcohol addiction recovery program that is FREE for residents! Through blessings of donations like these, the Mission Thrift Store is a source of funding that helps continue the work.

Losing a loved one is an incredibly difficult experience, and in the midst of grief, families are often faced with many responsibilities—along with a significant amount of paperwork. Since 2021, FEMA has offered COVID-19 Funeral Assistance to help ease some of the financial burden during this challenging time.

Understandably, applying for this assistance may not have been possible for some families at the time of their loss, or it may have simply been overlooked. If your family is eligible, please be aware that the deadline to apply for reimbursement is September 30, 2025.

We encourage you to take advantage of this support if you haven’t already.
