Lake Michigan Surf Company Lighthouse Journals, Signs, Shirts, and Photos Thanks for reading my about page! I have 2 beautiful daughters, one granddaughter and a grandson on the way.

Talking about myself is not something I’m great at, but people like to know things about people so here’s a little bit about me:

I’m a crazy cat lady, currently with 3 cats running my house. I’m married to a wonderful man who has put up with my crazy ideas for 25 years and counting. We have a beautiful farmhouse on 5 acres and spend our weekends caring for and improving our property. They all liv

e in Georgia and visit them as often as possible. I love to travel, and it doesn’t matter where. Seeing something new is always on my list. Lighthouses are my thing. It started back in 2019 and I won’t stop hunting them until I’ve seen them all. Photography fits in with the travel and lighthouse hunting. Nature photography is what I enjoy the most. I have thousands of photos on my hard drive and one day I’ll do something with them. I’m learning that they don’t have to be perfect to share with others. Writing is my therapy. Currently, I am writing a book about grief and hope to have it published by the end of 2024. Crafting and learning new skills are also part of my life. I enjoy making signs from junk wood pieces and whatever else sparks my interests. As you can see, I am a lot of things but never want to change. My creative and chaotic spirit is who I am. I've been busy working the craft show scene the last few weeks and only 9 Lighthouse Journals are left in my inventory. I will be ordering more soon but shipping can take up to three weeks to receive from the publisher. Order now if you need one for Christmas!!
Thank you to all the people who come out and support local crafters and artisans - your patronage keeps us going!
However, I need to share a HUGE pet peeve of mine - PLEASE do not tell the maker "I can make this myself". If you feel that way, say it out of earshot. I would never come to your workplace and tell you I could do your job. It's just rude.
