So what really happens in a CoolSculpting Consultation?
Before you receive a CoolSculpting treatment, several factors need to be confirmed:
1. ESTABLISH CANDIDACY: The most important reason for the consultation is to determine eligibility. CoolSculpting isn’t right for everyone. There are several health contraindications for CoolSculpting and the treatment targets a specific type of fat cell. For the treatment to function safely and effectively, our specialist needs to determine whether you have enough of the right cells to perform the treatment or if you have any contraindications that could harm you or create complications with the treatment.
2. CONFIRM TARGET AREAS: The second reason for the consultation is to establish target areas. You’ll discuss the areas you’d like treated and, after our specialist determines if you’re a candidate, she’ll work with you to determine the best treatment schedule.
3. DETERMINE TREATMENT SCHEDULES: A treatment schedule isn’t just about scheduling appointments. Several treatments can be completed in a single appointment. If you’re treating a smaller area, such as under the chin or the upper arms, your appointment might only take an hour, where larger areas---such as the abdomen or back---could take up to four hours due to more applications required to cover the area.
Additionally, for best results, CoolSculpting recommends clients schedule two appointments, as each application should be applied at least twice for visible results. Some people require additional applications and appointments for optimal results.
4. RECEIVE PRICE QUOTE: Pricing is per patient due to the variation in the number of applications, areas, and appointments in each treatment schedule. Your quote is based on the number of applications and estimated initial appointments but could change depending on how your body reacts to the treatment and whether you require more or fewer applications that initially estimated.
