This is really great info from Tall Cop! In our October meeting we had a discussion of how some alcoholic beverage containers look like other beverages (like energy drinks) - and how that’s confusing for kids!

The pouches are small, discreet, and do not produce smoke or v***r, making them easy for teens to use without detection.
These pouches do not contain to***co but do contain ni****ne, which is the addictive substance found in ci******es and other to***co products.

Detroit’s sports stadiums and arenas will no longer allow smokeless to***co products.

The Detroit City Council adopted an ordinance Tuesday, Oct. 21, making Comerica Park, Ford Field, and Little Caesars Arena completely to***co-free. The ban adds products like ni****ne pouches to the prohibited products list, which already included ci******es and vapes/e-ci******es.

The ordinance passed by a 7-2 vote and will take immediate effect.
