Another glorious summer day for an outdoor lunch- and Stix was the perfect spot for us! Delicious food, wonderful friends, and beautiful weather. We couldn’t have asked for much more. ☀️

The residents were really shakin’ it this week, as they crafted homemade ice cream. Many of them had previously made homemade ice cream in their youth, and thoroughly enjoyed creating their own afternoon snack. 🍦

What would National Milk Chocolate Day be, without…. CHOCOLATE??

The residents all had a great time this week making milk chocolate covered pretzels with the gals from Elara Caring. We had so much fun, we couldn’t stop with just pretzels, and had fun dipping saltine crackers, and graham crackers, too!

There is a day for everything, and we recently observed “National Thread the Needle Day” by hand stitching these charming burlap hearts. Each of the ladies then selected their favorite fabric as a backdrop, and framed them, to create a unique piece of art for their rooms 🪡

Several of our residents love gardening, so what better way to enjoy a sunny day, than to get outside and play in the flower beds? 🌸

We wanted to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the kind soul who dropped off the 2 stunning floral sprays and 2 bouquets. The residents were absolutely thrilled to create new arrangements from these! They even beautifully adorn the dining tables as new centerpieces. We truly appreciate you thinking of us, and spreading joy 🙂

For National Pet Day, residents at Ludington Woods Assisted Living were excited to see the huge selection of adorable employee pets. One lucky doggie was chosen as the resident favorite. Huge congrats to Kim Mesyar, Life Enrichment assistant, and her dog, Benji, as residents presented them with an adorable gift basket.

Milo is a passionate, self-employed artist and illustrator. His interest in art began at a young age.
