Giving Tuesday is right around the corner and we’re focusing on one of our biggest needs: DIAPERS.

We’re setting a goal of 10,000 diapers to support local families—and we need your help to get there!

Every package makes a difference for a little one in our community.

In honor of Thanksgiving, our office will be closed on Thursday, November 27th.

We are grateful for our community and wish everyone a warm and joyful holiday. We’ll be back to serve families during our regular hours next week!

We’re so grateful to Community Foundation for Mason County - MI to be included in "Wish List Wednesday" alongside so many incredible local nonprofits. We’re blessed to live in such a generous community—many of the items on this year’s lists have already been fulfilled! And it’s not too late to give… there are still plenty of wishes waiting to be granted.🥰

Wow, Mason County! The inaugural Wish List Wednesday was a great success, thanks to your incredible generosity!

Nineteen nonprofit wishes were granted, totaling $19,487 in support for our community partners!

Seeing the direct impact this day made—from new equipment to program supplies—is truly inspiring. Thank you for stepping up to make a real difference in the lives of the people and causes served by Mason County nonprofits.

🌟 Wish List Wednesday – with a twist! 🌟

This week’s Wish List Wednesday looks a little different! The Community Foundation for Mason County - MI has compiled a list of local nonprofits and the items they need—ranging from small gifts to big dreams. 💛

West Shore Family Support has three items on the list:
🧴 Baby hygiene products to stock our boutique and help keep little ones clean and healthy
🚗 Car seats for growing families in need
🚐 And a van or larger vehicle to help us reach rural areas and deliver baby supplies to more families

We’re so thankful to be part of a community that comes together to meet needs and lift families up!

🎉Happy Wish List Wednesday! The Community Foundation is excited to launch our inaugural Wish List Wednesday, making it easy for you to support the incredible work happening right here in our community.

We've compiled Community Wish Lists filled with specific, high-need items submitted by local nonprofits—things like equipment, program supplies, or technology upgrades that will truly positively impact the services they provide.

Here are some ways you can grant a wish and make a difference:

1) Browse the lists: Visit our website to see the full list of wishes. Look for your favorite organization or browse until a project inspires you!

2) Make an impact: If you have a Donor Advised Fund through the Community Foundation, contact us to recommend a grant!

3) If you don't have a fund, you can donate directly to the nonprofit. Just let them (and us!) know you saw their wish on our list.

4) Kick off the giving season: Consider granting a wish today or choose one or more to support on Giving Tuesday (coming soon!).

For the safety of our families and staff, West Shore Family Support will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, due to bad weather.

As a reminder, whenever Ludington Area Schools are closed for bad weather conditions, we close too.

Did you know? 🍼 West Shore Family Support offers free resources for local families with children up to age 4!

We provide essentials like diapers, wipes, clothing, formula, and other baby items, plus parenting support to help you feel confident and cared for. 💛

🍼 Wish List Wednesday!

This week, we’re asking for donations of baby formula — specifically Similac and Enfamil brands. Formula is one of the most requested items from the families we serve, and your support helps ensure every baby has what they need to thrive.

Donations can be dropped off at West Shore Family Support, 603 E. Tinkham Ave., Ludington, during office hours; Tuesday through Thursday from 10 am - 4 pm.
