QUESTION for my Ludlow area friends - I'm considering putting together an herbalism apprenticeship/meetup group for the Spring/Summer. We would gather at our homestead on South Hill to drink tea, walk in the fields and forest, and learn about plant allies in a connective + supportive environment.

My Q for you: what day/time would work best for you, if you were to consider joining this program? Right now I'm considering Monday afternoons or Friday mornings for a 3hr time period, meeting bi-weekly. OR I've been considering 1 Saturday/month, meeting from 10am-2pm. ORRR if you have other ideas/suggestions, I'm happy to hear them. (And if you have any other ideas around timing, content, pricing structure, etc - please send them my way).

Woodstove medicine - gotta love it! In the morning, I like to fill a mason jar with an assortment of herbs/bark/berries, and put it on our woodstove to slowly simmer (this is called a decoction - a strongly steeped tea simmered over time!) that I can sip from throughout the day, enjoying how it changes and evolves (much like my energy). Shown here is a lovely decoction of rose hips and hawthorn berries (harvested and frozen this summer), pau d’arco, marshmallow root, licorice root, and fennel seeds. I’ve been embarking on a big gut healing quest recently, and this blend is helping to support me in that, as well as offering my heart some uplifting love + compassion. ❤️
