Meet our owner, Cheryl!

Cheryl has been a lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky, growing up around Ludlow before attending the University of Cincinnati and Eastern Kentucky University. She received her BS degree in biology and chemistry and taught in the science department at Boone County High School from 1992-1996. She went on to teach science and coach basketball at Notre Dame Academy and Ryle High School. Before joining Ronald B. Jones full-time, she taught at Covington Catholic High School as her youngest son attended there.

While she earned her funeral director’s license in 2014, it wasn't until August 2023 that Cheryl purchased and began managing Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home as a second-generation owner.

Cheryl currently resides in Edgewood with her husband, Paul. They have five children: Ben (wife Taylor), Abby, Nate, Nick, and Luke. And she became a grandmother three months ago when her granddaughter Lydia was born! With a husband and children who enjoy bird hunting, the family has three English Setters named Bo, Rey, and Wiser. She is an active member of St. Pius X parish and enjoys spending time at Norris Lake and attending her kids' events, especially their sporting events.
