August is cooking at Countryside Senior Living!

At Countryside, we know what our residents like – delicious, homecooked meals… favorites like casseroles, hearty soups, chicken and dumplings, and desserts they’ve grown up loving.

Best of all, you can join us for lunch! Give us a call to set up a private tour and delicious lunch we’re known for.

We are absolutely delighted with the success of today's back-to-school event. We were thrilled to provide 120 backpacks filled with supplies. We also enjoyed snow cones provided by Harbor Hospice and offered 6 complimentary haircuts thanks to Holly Colbert. We extend our sincere gratitude.

A special thank you goes to all our community friends and partners who generously donated over 100 items each to help fill our backpacks. Together, we were able to assist so many children.

Also thanks to our Activity Director Jesse for all the hard work and pur staff today that helped out. We had 2 of our residents help fill out backpacks today!!!!! Ms. Elsie Staggs, Mary Staggs look at her and Ms. Nancy Taylor

🎒📚 Back to School Bash – TODAY! 📚🎒

Join us at Countryside Senior Living of Lufkin for our Back to School Bash happening TODAY from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 406 Gobbler’s K**b!

We’ll be handing out free backpacks filled with school supplies for children ages 4–18 — while supplies last! ✏️📓✂️

✅ First come, first serve
🎒 One backpack per child
👧 Child must be present to receive a backpack

Don’t forget to double-check your school supply lists — our bags include a variety of essentials, but you may need to grab a few extras to be fully prepared!

Let’s start the school year off right — we can’t wait to see you this afternoon! 🎉🚌🍎

We dedicated the day to expressing our gratitude to our local hospitals and several of our doctors' offices. We are sincerely thankful for their invaluable contributions, as they hold a special significance for us at Countryside.

At Countryside, we believe a home isn’t complete without a furry companion 🐾💖 That’s why we warmly welcome well-behaved cats and dogs to our community! From wagging tails to soft purrs, our four-legged friends add joy, comfort, and endless love to daily life.

Huge thank you to Kendall Windham Beattie from Elite Medical Home Care for bringing the good vibes and juicy smiles to our residents today! From classic tunes bumpin’ on the boombox to that perfect slice of summer sunshine, it was a melon-choly free zone all afternoon. 😄🍉🎵
