🇺🇸 We Honor Veterans — And the Families Who Serve Alongside Them 🇺🇸

At Hospice in the Pines, our We Honor Veterans program is about more than recognition—it’s about honoring the entire journey of service, including the families who sacrifice right alongside their loved ones.

Recently, we had the privilege of honoring a veteran who served in the United States Air Force during a heartfelt pinning ceremony. Although family members were unable to attend in person, they joined us via Zoom, witnessing this beautiful moment of recognition and gratitude from afar. It was a powerful reminder that distance cannot diminish honor, love, or pride.

We proudly recognize not only our veterans, but also their spouses and families whose strength, support, and sacrifice are an essential part of every service story. It is truly our honor to care for and celebrate them all with dignity and respect. ❤️🤍💙

💚 Cold Weather Reminder for Our East Texas Community 💚

As encumbering cold weather settles into East Texas, let’s slow down and look out for one another—especially our veterans who have given so much in service to our country. A quick phone call, a visit, or simply checking to be sure they’re warm and safe can mean more than we realize.

Cold days can feel longer and heavier, particularly for those who may be alone. Let’s wrap our community in care by offering kindness, warmth, and connection. Together, we can make sure no one faces the cold feeling forgotten. ❄️🧣
