We provide Texas school and child-care facility vaccines:

🔘 Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
🔘 Must bring an up-to-date shot record.
🔘 Walk-ins only. No appointments.
🔘 Cost is $10 for one shot; $15 for two or more.
🔘 Ages six weeks to 18 years.
🔘 Cash only. Local Medicaid and CHIP accepted.

Angelina County & Cities Health District le ayuda a vivir su mejor vida ofreciéndole pruebas de detección y servicios para el cáncer de cuello uterino. Ofrecemos los siguientes servicios a las mujeres que cumplan los requisitos:

🔘 Servicios de detección
🔘 Examen pélvico y prueba de Papanicolaou
🔘 Servicios de diagnóstico
🔘 Gestión y tratamiento de la displasia cervical
🔘 Tratamiento de otras afecciones ginecológicas agudas
🔘 Ayuda para solicitar Medicaid para el cáncer de cuello de útero

El es el séptimo más común diagnosticado entre las mujeres de Texas, siendo la población más prioritaria la de 21 a 64 años. Sobrevivir al cáncer de cuello uterino depende de lo temprano que se detecte el cáncer. La mejor manera de detectar este cáncer en las primeras etapas es a través de exámenes regulares.

We've all heard that you should aim for 8 glasses of water a day to better your health, and that's true! In the summer though, it's recommended that you up that intake to between 11 and 15 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated in the hot weather. It all adds up to living life well!

Are you eating enough ? They're a great source of nutrients!

🥗 Salad greens, kale and spinach are rich in vitamins A, C, E and K.
🥬 Broccoli, bok choy and mustard have a good amount of vitamin B.

These vegetables contain carotenoids-antioxidants, too, that protect cells and play roles in blocking the early stages of cancer, according to the Agricultural Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. They're also high in fiber, iron, magnesium, potassium and calcium while retaining very little carbohydrates, sodium and cholesterol.

Be sure to pick some up while you're grocery shopping this weekend!

REMINDER: Our Immunization Department will be closed tomorrow and Thursday, June 4-5th.

If you want to stop by this week to knock out back-to-school immunizations or other vaccines, you must come this afternoon. We will be administering immunizations until 4:30 p.m.

Otherwise, normal operating hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will resume on Monday, June 9th. Thank you!

The Immunization Department at ACCHD will be closed next Wednesday and Thursday, June 4-5. We will resume regular immunization hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 9.

ACCHD provides Texas school and child-care facility Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Walk-ins only and you must bring an up-to-date shot record. Payments must be made in cash. Local Medicaid and CHIP accepted.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Hours for the Immunization Department will be different this week. We are closed on Wednesday and Thursday, June 4-5th. If you want to stop by this week, you must come this afternoon or tomorrow, Tuesday, June 3rd. Otherwise, normal operating hours will resume on Monday, June 9th.
