Charles and Alex had worked hard to adequately save for a comfortable retirement. When it came to their future, they had every box checked: good jobs, mortgage free home, growing 401K, and good health.
That is, until one by one, each item was taken from them by a series of unforeseen events.

Recently, Pinecrest Retirement Community hosted a powerful caregiver training led by MRC’s very own, Debbie Teague. Her compassion, clarity, and depth of knowledge gave family caregivers a better understanding of dementia and what daily life can feel like for their loved ones living with memory loss.

We are deeply grateful for Debbie’s guidance and the gentle way she helps families make sense of a difficult journey.

To the caregivers who attended — thank you for showing up with open hearts and a desire to better support the people you love. You are not alone.
