Yesterday we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Woodland Heights Women’s Health, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this moment with our community!

A huge thank-you to the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and everyone who came out to support this special event. Your presence made the day even more meaningful.

The new clinic is home to OB/GYN Dr. Rick Evans, and we’re proud to continue expanding access to women’s health services in our region.

We were excited to welcome our physicians and staff today for an open house celebrating the completion of our $3.7 million renovation to one of our two cardiac catheterization laboratories.

This upgraded cath lab features new equipment, updated technology, and an improved design and interface — all supporting safer, more efficient care for our heart patients.

Every year we love having the Leadership Lufkin Class with Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce come visit during Healthcare Day. This year, they heard from Woodland Heights Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Allison Cain and ENT surgeon Dr. Q. Jimmy Pham. The group toured the Emergency Department, the only level 3 NICU in our area and they got a sneak peek into the cardiac catheterization lab renovation that is expected to be complete this month.
