A warning to all of our families. Unfortunately there is a scam taking place that affects the families we serve.

Predators are contacting families to say that a "security deposit" of $1,500 (or some other amount) is needed for insurance purposes. The scammers threaten that if the deposit isn't paid immediately, the funeral home cannot guarantee that the service will take place.

We will never ask for payment via cashapp, paypal, apple pay, or venmo.

If anyone reaches out to you claiming to be from Powers Funeral Home asking for money, please contact us and do not make any payments without talking to us.
