🎄Lumber City Care Center’s Employee Christmas Party 🎄

We had a memorable time celebrating the season and our employees at our yearly Christmas party! This year we had a terrific taco bar with all of the fixings, door prizes and we played fun games. We truly appreciate our amazing staff and everything you do each day. This celebration was well deserved! ❤️

💚Merry GrinchMas!! 💚
The Grinch came to Lumber City Care Center but he didn’t come to steal Christmas, he brought us all his Christmas cheer.
⭐️Special thanks to Kim, Jody, Kathee, Debbie,Hiliary for coordinating. Bethanie for being the grinch and last but not least our guest Regina from Treasured Blessings Photography for capturing the fun times and countless smiles.

Some of the residents enjoyed being able to bake up a pumpkin pie during therapy. 🥧
Baking a pie helps the residents use Mindfulness & Grounding: measuring & mixing.
Sensory Experience: The feel of flour, the smell of butter, and the warmth of the oven engage the senses, creating a calming, positive sensory experience.
Lumber City Care Center has one of the best therapy teams they go above and beyond for the residents.

The Jeff Davis Middle School Band’s Christmas performance for the residents was so fun and festive! The residents and staff absolutely enjoyed it. Thank you all for filling the facility with smiles and Christmas spirit.
