Zayden's Fight To Win Zayden is an 8 year old boy that was diagnosed with a brain tumor, LCH Cancer (Langerhans cell histiocytosis) on March 22, 2020. YOUR CHILD HAS CANCER!

I created this page to help us with the support we need and to update his progress. Zayden is an 8 year old boy that was diagnosed with a devastating brain tumor on March 22, 2020. He has been healthy with just the common cold once or twice. In March, he got sick with fever, throwing up and very tired. Took him to the emergency room two times for them to say "he just has a tummy virus." Sent him h

ome with nausea medicine. On the third trip to the ER, all within 4 days of each other, he started loosing his eyesight in his right eye. That is when they decided it was a little more than a "tummy virus." They immediately life flight us to Texas Children's Hospital. Within hours, our lives were turned upside down. We heard those words a parent never wants to hear. When the doctor said brain tumor/cancer our hearts dropped and tears just started rolling down our cheeks uncontrollable. At that moment life as we knew it would be changed forever. It was our worst NIGHTMARE as parents, that quickly became our reality, not knowing what the tumor is, where it came from, how long has it been there? You can only imagine all the thoughts, questions and worries that was running through our minds for our little boy. Zayden has a brain tumor that is pushing on his optic nerve that was causing his blindness. With chemo and steroids it is improving. He will be doing chemo treatments at least till March 2021.

There is an 11 year age gap! Can you believe how tall Zay has gotten? He is 13 yrs old and Dylan is 24. These two definitely have my heart! ❤️💙❤️
