She is the founder and President of NewPath Therapy & Wellness and owner of Connected Path Recovery in Beaumont, Texas. Regina has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University in Beaumont. She is currently completing dissertation work for her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from California Southern University. Regina has worked in the mental health field for over 18 years and has specialized in addiction, generational trauma, relationships, and forensic behavioral health.

This Christmas, I want to celebrate the resilience and strength of those breaking the cycle of family dysfunction. Choosing a different path is never easy, but your courage to rewrite the story inspires hope for generations to come.

The holiday season can be a time of reflection, healing, and growth. It’s also a reminder that you are not defined by where you came from, but by the love, strength, and determination you carry forward.

May this Christmas bring you peace, renewed hope, and the confidence to keep moving toward the life you are building.

Brains don’t like doing things that threaten survival, especially if they learned long ago that keeping-the-people-pleased is how to best keep us safe… 🧠

Is it any wonder we find ourselves agreeing with boundaries β€œin theory” but then struggling to actually set any?

Yep.
