As we get ready to welcome 2026, we want to pause a moment and say a heartfelt THANK YOU to the families who placed their trust in us throughout the past years and in 2025. It is truly an honor to serve and walk with you during life’s most meaningful moments. Rest assured that we never take that trust lightly.

This coming March, Trinity Funeral Services will proudly celebrate 10 years of Compassion, Comfort, and Care! As we look ahead, we are excited about what the new year holds and the meaningful ways we will continue to serve our families and community! Our mission will remain the same as always, to provide you with the goods and services you desire, at prices you can afford.

From all of us at Trinity Funeral Services, we wish you a safe, very happy and prosperous New Year, filled with peace, hope, and comfort. We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to the journey ahead!

Good afternoon to our friends and families in Lumberton. I wanted to take a moment to share what has transpired recently, so you all are fully informed. I do apologize for the length...

As I stated to you earlier, we decided after much prayer, thought, and deliberation, to list our property at 890 E. Main Avenue. Due to the limited amount of services we were utilizing the facility for, it was costing us far more to maintain and keep up, leaving us with a significant shortfall each year. This meant facing the reality of either significantly increasing the costs of our services to compensate for that, or to consider liquidating that asset. With just a couple of weeks left on our agreement with the realtor, we received a formal offer from another local ministry who actually needed a place. Yesterday, our property in Lumberton was sold to Jacob's Well Ministries and will soon serve as the new location of their men's home! The business of Trinity Funeral Services has not been sold, nor has it ever been for sale.

This was strictly a business decision and does not change our commitment to serving the Lumberton community! Our main office in McHenry is available, OR we will gladly come to you for arrangement conferences, pre-need meetings, or whatever your need may be, just as we always have! We will perform services at your church or other locations, or even at your home, as some still prefer today! The only change on our side is that we no longer own the building in Lumberton.

Please rest assured that all pre-need policies remain active, and all pre-planned services will be honored! Nothing about your plans or coverage has changed, unless you were planning to have your service in that building. EVERYTHING else remains the same, including the low pricing that only Trinity provides! When you truly compare apples to apples, you can not find any better pricing. In fact, don't be surprised to see some of those prices get even better in the coming weeks and months as well. A couple of folks have reached out to us over the past couple of months, and after speaking with them, there has been no one who didn't understand what we were going through. We so appreciate the understanding as this was very trying on us as well.

So in summary, yes Trinity Funeral Services is still here to meet the needs of the Lumberton community! We still provide the Compassion, Comfort, and Care that you have come to know, with the very best pricing around. Our commitment to caring for families during life’s most difficult moments remains as strong as ever.

Congratulations to Jacob's Well and their staff! Meeting with them yesterday and hearing their story...let's just say that when God is in something, all we need to do is trust and follow Him! He is rarely early...but one thing is certain...He is NEVER late! What He did yesterday assures you that both Trinity Funeral Services and Jacob's Well will be here for you, should you need us. I truly hope that you and your family do not need either in the foreseeable future.

This is Our Story...

Trinity Funeral Services was born from the hearts of three local pastors here in South Mississippi, whose passion it is to help people. Losing a loved one is arguably the most difficult time you will face in life. Having someone who truly cares for you and your family, that will treat you with sincere compassion and work with you to design and arrange services that honors their life, and will strive to do so at the best possible price, is invaluable. That is Trinity Funeral Services.

Trinity’s main location in McHenry opened March 11, 2016. Shortly thereafter, a branch location was established in Lumberton to bring the same professional services to the people in that area. The original location was small, but it allowed us to get started while we searched for a more suitable location. In the fall of 2018, we were blessed with an agreement to acquire the old Christ Church location at 890 E. Main Ave. After prayerful consideration, we signed an agreement and went to work. Today, Lumberton has a very nice and spacious facility, with caring professionals eager to help in such a difficult time.

We all know that funeral services will one day be needed by each of us. At Trinity, our primary goal remains to help families through that time with “Compassion. Comfort. and Care.” We have found that being prepared in advance is by far the best way to help you, and to save you even more of your hard-earned money. You have options, even if you have already made plans with another funeral provider, that may save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.
