To our friends and families in the Lumberton area, I wanted to take a moment and address some rumors that have begun, and are being fed into the community. First, Trinity Funeral Services HAS NOT been sold! It is not for sale despite what you may have heard or been told. After much thought and evaluation, we did decide to list our Lumberton building, but the business of Trinity Funeral Services is definitely not for sale! This effort was undertaken to keep funeral pricing as low as we possibly can for families in the area. A building that large is nice to have, but it is somewhat costly to maintain on a monthly basis as you might imagine. The number of actual services done there has fallen far short of covering those expenses over the last couple of years, forcing us to look at other options.

That being said, please know that Trinity Funeral Services will absolutely continue to be here to serve the Lumberton area! While we still are unsure what our physical presence in Lumberton might be going forward, we will still serve you with the same Compassion, Comfort, and Care that you have come to expect from us! Yes, we have and will continue to come to you, wherever that may be, should you need us to! We will hold your services anywhere yyou would like, at home, your church, or alternate locations as we always have! Your pre-needs are all safe, and remain fully in force! While we hope it is no time soon, you can rest assured that when that time does come, you have nothing to worry about! Trinity Funeral Services will continue to be here for you, with the best prices you will find, along with the professional, compassionate service and high quality goods you've come to expect!

I want to personally apologize for any misinformation that you may have read on social media or heard floating around, and do pray that none of it caused anyone to be anxious for any reason! To our clients with pre-need policies written through American Benefit Life, you likely recieved (or will soon) a card in the mail outlining the settelment of a class action lawsuit, of which they were a part. From what I understand, this suit involved several insurance companies and a data breach of some sort. Please do not panic! Your insurance policy is still active, in full force, and you have absolutely nothing to worry about!! When we learn more details about this, we will pass it along! This is Our Story...

Trinity Funeral Services was born from the hearts of three local pastors here in South Mississippi, whose passion it is to help people. Losing a loved one is arguably the most difficult time you will face in life. Having someone who truly cares for you and your family, that will treat you with sincere compassion and work with you to design and arrange services that honors their life, and will strive to do so at the best possible price, is invaluable. That is Trinity Funeral Services.

Trinity’s main location in McHenry opened March 11, 2016. Shortly thereafter, a branch location was established in Lumberton to bring the same professional services to the people in that area. The original location was small, but it allowed us to get started while we searched for a more suitable location. In the fall of 2018, we were blessed with an agreement to acquire the old Christ Church location at 890 E. Main Ave. After prayerful consideration, we signed an agreement and went to work. Today, Lumberton has a very nice and spacious facility, with caring professionals eager to help in such a difficult time.

We all know that funeral services will one day be needed by each of us. At Trinity, our primary goal remains to help families through that time with “Compassion. Comfort. and Care.” We have found that being prepared in advance is by far the best way to help you, and to save you even more of your hard-earned money. You have options, even if you have already made plans with another funeral provider, that may save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.
