Balanced Child Pediatric Therapy

Balanced Child Pediatric Therapy Outpatient speech and occupational therapy in a cozy home-like setting. I am a licensed speech language pathologist who lives and works in Burlington County.

Prior to graduating from Stockton University, I worked with children with severe disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans to develop their skills and ensure their safety. Since then, I've worked primarily in the public school and early intervention settings, helping families and children with a variety of disabilities. My goal as a therapist is to help restore balance to the lives of children and families dealing with speech, language, hearing, and feeding disorders. I have experience treating children of all ages with a variety of diagnoses, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, speech sound disorders, Downs Syndrome, receptive and expressive language delays, ADHD, and more. As a therapist and a parent, I understand that the path to overcoming communication barriers is not the same for everyone. I hope to help you find what works for your family to help your child gain independence and overcome barriers.

I’m angry and disappointed today. Every day we work with families who are trying to navigate daily life in the face of insurmountable challenges and faced at every turn with loads of readily available misinformation. To promise to find a cause and come out with information that confirms correlation, NOT CAUSATION, is so dangerous to the future of the services we are providing and the lives of those who are impacted by autism. The irresponsibility of announcing this information and attempting to declare causation is heartbreaking for these families. Why are we discussing the correlation of acetaminophen and not diving into genetics at all? All I can say is that we will continue to treat each child and each family with nothing but love and respect. We won’t let the anger and the disappointment win. We will continue to stay up to date on all the information that comes out and do our best to dispel myths. We will not place blame on mothers for seeking relief from pain during pregnancy.
