According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's “2023 Fireworks Annual Report", fireworks devices were involved in an estimated 6,400 injuries treated in U.S. hospital emergency departments around the Independence Day holiday, from June 16-July 16, 2023.

Summer Break is here! Right now we have lots of appointments available for children. Please don't wait until August to have your child's eyes checked.

Eighty percent (80%) of a child's learning is through the eyes, yet 1 in 4 children in the U.S. has a vision problem. This leaves kids with poor vision at a major disadvantage. Sixty percent of “problem learners” are believed to actually suffer from undetected or untreated vision problems. (The Cooper Institute).

Dr. Deibert and some of our staff members will be attending a conference this weekend. The office will be open Friday all day and Saturday morning but there will not be any optical staff those days. You can pick up any orders but we will not be able to write up new orders until Monday. We apologize for the inconvenience.
