I have had so much fun quilting this year. I just finished one for a friend (Greens, Greys & White - hexagons).

And I'm starting a new two toned one. Yellows and white. I'm going to try a Jacobs Ladder design. We'll see how it goes!

We have enjoyed trying new foods.
So far I have had Lobster Tacos, Crab Bisque and gater bites.
Caleb tried some Mahi Mahi tacos and gumbo. So fun and all of it has been so yummy.

We watched a beautiful sunset last night.

I just wanted to share this self-care/relaxing project I have started.

Quilting! I have really enjoyed the relaxation of it and it is fun making a gift for someone.

Canning and freezing Peaches this week!!

It has been so fun learning how to can. Out of one bushel of peaches we got 12 quarts of canned peaches and 10 quart bags in the freezer.
Plus what we ate😂

2 of the bags I chopped.to make a syrup later

Also the peaches I canned have no white sugar!!

Ok y'all know I LOVE birthdays.
This year for my birthday Caleb finished our pantry (originally it was going to be a laundry room). Doesn't it look amazing.

When I started using essential oils!

I started using essential oils when my daughter was about 2. There were so many things my husband & I could take all these things (more vitamin C, emergency . . .you know all the stuff). One night while on vacation she had a pretty good cold and I gave her cold med and cough syrup, but she was still coughing. We were staying with some friends and I didn’t want to wake anyone up, finally I put this essential oil blend that I made for her on her feet and chest. She didn’t cough again all night. I couldn’t believe it. That’s when I really knew that I wanted to learn more about essential oils!!
